Activities of Daily Living

  • Morning routines – getting dressed, bathing, grooming, or using the bathroom
  • Getting around safely – getting in and out of a car, walking through the home, or navigating curbs and doorways
  • Managing medications – organizing pills and keeping track of when and how to take them
  • Following safety rules after surgery or injury – like hip, heart (sternal), or spine precautions, while still getting daily tasks done

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions do I need?

It depends on your needs! Some clients benefit from 1-2 sessions focused on general home modifications, safety recommendations, or caregiver trainings, while others may require ongoing visits (weekly or biweekly) to address more specific concerns.

How Long is a Session?

A typical session lasts one hour, however adjustments can be made based on individual needs and the overall tolerance of each client

Where are you located?

Secure virtual services are offered nationwide, with optional in-person availability in New York City, NY and Honolulu, HI.

CBIS: Certified Brain Injury Specialist
